Working students and camp counselors are chosen for their sincere love and desire to be involved in the total horse experience but also based on ability to relate to our students needs.
The program could not run as efficiently and happily without our working students and camp counselors.
We have several experienced staff members who take care of the barn and horses. They also help with lessons.
Jeff Walker, chemistry and engineering teacher, musician, kayaker, scuba diver, and Lori's hubby is very involved in the camp program. He brings enthusiasm, high energy, great ideas, and a world of science, music, and water activities to our camps.

Lori Walker - Owner/Trainer, Program Coordinator
I am honored to be able to provide an equestrian program to include a quality lesson program. With years of experience in riding, horse showing, teaching lessons, and leading horse camps, I have learned what students look for in a lesson program. I was raised by a professional horseman who was also a horse show judge, 4-H horse club leader, and (my Dad) was also a high school teacher, riding instructor and horse trainer. My Mom is an artist. This led me to a Degree in Therapeutic Recreation. I have been teaching activities for children and senior adults for more than 30 years. I have taught hunt seat riding lessons on and off for a number of years.
